Walk. Walk. Walk with me as we go through another mix from 4AM NYC.
Or maybe dance, as this mix has soooo many great tracks in it, such as Pressure Dub by Ability II, Bango by The Todd Terry Project and the delightfully-named Cunty – many of them classics yet mostly not overplayed classics.
And some edits too, Rhythm Is A Dancer makes a welcome and not too cheesy appearance.
I’m still not quite sure what 4AM NYC is, are they a DJ, are they a nightclub, are they a promoter – quite possibly all of them. There are some 6 hour sets out there by 4AM NYC, though they can start on the cheesy r’n’b side, but tend to become worth listening to. Maybe you like r’n’b but I spent far too much time in shit bars in the 2000’s hearing the same shit over and over.
Certainly 4AM NYC has excellent taste in danceable and classic house music.
Enjoyment rating of 7.23.
