RAHA warming up for Rhadoo in Tokyo, it doesn’t get any more minimally wonderful than this.

I’ve written about RAHA before, he’s a Japanese minimal techno DJ that I’m rather a big fan of, and here he’s playing a warm-up set before one of the other magicians, Rhadoo.

It’s a 90 minute set, which starts dark and foreboding – dark but dreamy.

Gradually it becomes chirpier, the sounds become more melodic and percussive – he even plays one of my favourite Rhadoo tracks, “Baisbe Alt Bass”.

After the hour, there’s a track that’s just so delightfully woozy – almost the sound of coming off pills after a night out, yet it’s a warm-up track.

I’ll never find out what the ID is.

This is a stunning mix from RAHA, one of my very favourite minimal DJs.
